Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders
If you are involved in the retail sale of alcohol, you must apply for a licence from the local authority. The Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders is a pre-requisite to apply for this licence.
As previously mentioned, anyone involved in the retail sale of alcohol must, in accordance with The Licensing Act 2003, apply for a licence from the Local Authority. The Award for Personal Licence Holders is a prerequisite to apply for the licence. This 1 day course meets the requirements of The Licensing Act and leaners will have an understanding of the framework with an emphasis on selling alcohol responsibly, legally and safely ensuring you stay compliant in the eyes of the law.
The course concludes with an external examination and to be successful you must achieve 28/40 multiple choice questions. All learners are required to show photo identification at registration prior to the course starting and be a minimum 18 years of age.
